After great success with the RCM Conference at the 2015 UK Conference Awards winning the Best Development of an Existing Conference category, the team at Redactive were keeping fingers crossed for further reasons to celebrate when they attended the Association Excellence Awards 2016. And we’re delighted to say that our positive thinking paid off, and we came away with a Mark of Excellence!
At the lunchtime ceremony hosted by Justin Webb and attended by over 400 association professionals, 16 awards and 7 marks of excellence were presented to professional and trade associations and their agencies who showed innovation through initiatives and unrivalled dedication to serving members. Redactive was recognised in the Best Association Event managed by an Agency category, beating a shortlist of strong contender agencies.
Rory Ross Russell, Director of Global Conference Network that organises the Association Excellence Awards said,
“Once again these awards have highlighted the excellence and hard work of the association sector. These associations continually deliver quality and value to their members, often under challenging circumstances. To be able to bring recognition for their dedication can only strengthen their position, and the value they add to all businesses and individuals in their sectors.”
The RCM Annual Conference provides midwives and other maternity team members, managers, educators, commissioners and policy formers with the opportunity to meet together in a unique forum for discussion, learning and inspiration sharing. Redactive has managed the Annual Conference in partnership with RCM since 2013 and has worked over the past three years on achieving the RCM’s two main objectives for the conference – to improve engagement levels and provide a platform for product showcasing – through responding to audience needs while keeping a strong commercial awareness to ensure financial viability.
We’re delighted that our hard work on this event has paid off, and already have plans in place to make the 2016 RCM Conference even bigger and better!
