We’ve welcomed some new faces to Redactive in 2016 – Daniel Butcher has joined as Business Development Manager, Toyin Etiko is our new Lead Developer and Thomas Grafton has started in the Sales team.

We were keen to find out a bit more about Daniel, Toyin and Thomas so we put a few questions to them…

 

How would you describe yourself in three words?

TE: Passionate, thinker, methodical

TG: Friend to many

D: Concise. Disobedient.

 

What was your first job/work experience?

TE: Steward in the stadium

TG: The tills at Sainsbury’s. Highlights include pushing trolleys on a Monday night in the rain, but then being promoted to kiosk chief, in charge of Lottery

D: Failed tomato picker (colour blind…)

 

What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given?

TE: Always remember the son of whom you are

TG: Self praise is no praise

D: Don’t be yourself (from my mother)

 

How do you relax?

TE: Sleep

TG: Watching sports, or reading political commentaries

D: By shouting at myself on a tennis court

 

What would you take to a desert island?

a) Music album/song

TE: TP-2.com

TG: Garage Nation – Feat. DJ Luck and MC Neat

D: Is Radio 4 allowed?

 

b) Book

TE: Desert Islands for Dummies

TG: Plato to NATO: Studies in Political Thought

D: The Martian, Andy Weir

 

c) Luxury

TE: A lily camera

TG:  A pillow – easy!

D: Mclaren’s Formula One Driving Simulator

 

d) Meal

TE: Rice, Fried plantain, whole jerk chicken. Tiramisu

TG: Steak on Mash, followed by a classic, Vanilla Ice Cream.

D: Chicken Vindaloo. Quickly followed by ice cream.

 

A good insight into our recent recruits – some pretty strong choices from all three we think. We wish Daniel, Toyin and Thomas all the best in their careers at Redactive!
