The Professional Associations Research Network’s (PARN) annual professional body sector review publication was launched last week at its ‘Supporting the Sector’ conference.
Designed and published by Redactive, the annual review offers in-depth analysis of the key issues facing professional bodies. It features research, opinion pieces and case studies from the likes of Sarah Pinch of CIPR and Alistair Godbold of APM.
The ‘Supporting the Sector’ conference, sponsored by Redactive as part of its mission to support the professional body sector, was held at the School of Oriental and African Studies in London.
Aaron Nicholls, Director at Redactive, opened the conference presentations by providing insight into the power of content to the 21st Century professional body in meeting its marketing, communications, education and commercial objectives. Other speakers included: Sue Wilkinson of the National Trust; Sara Drake, Chief Executive of the Association for Project Management and Leonie Milliner, Chief Executive of the Association for Nutrition, among other sector experts.
